Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a membership, class pack or service, attending classes, participating in activities or using facilities provided by Symetrie, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Health Declaration
You acknowledge that participation in exercise, fitness training and recreational activities involves physical exertion and carries inherent risks.
You warrant that you are physically capable of participating in exercise and that you have not been advised otherwise by a medical practitioner.
You agree to notify Symetrie of any injury, illness, pregnancy, medical condition or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate safely.
Risk Warning
Participation in exercise, fitness training and recreational activities may involve risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, aggravation of existing conditions and, in rare circumstances, death.
You acknowledge and accept these risks and voluntarily participate in all activities provided by Symetrie.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Symetrie excludes all liability for any injury, loss, damage, cost or expense arising directly or indirectly from participation in classes, personal training sessions, exercise physiology services, use of facilities or any other services provided by Symetrie.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Personal Property
Members and visitors are responsible for their own personal property while attending Symetrie.
Symetrie accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
Member Conduct
We are proud of the welcoming and supportive community that exists at Symetrie.
Members must:
Follow all reasonable directions provided by staff and coaches;
Use equipment safely and appropriately;
Conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards staff and other members; and
Refrain from behaviour that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.
Symetrie reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend access or terminate memberships where these standards are not met.
Membership Policies
Members agree to comply with the Membership Policies published on the Symetrie website, as amended from time to time.
These policies form part of these Terms & Conditions and include matters relating to bookings, waitlists, cancellations, no-shows, holds, payments and membership management.
Refund Policy
Memberships, class packs, casual visits, personal training sessions and other services are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Requests for refunds due to exceptional circumstances may be considered at the sole discretion of Symetrie.
Unused sessions, missed classes, forgotten cancellations, missed sign-ins, change of mind or non-attendance do not entitle a member to a refund.
Minimum Age
Memberships and services are available to persons aged 16 years and over.
Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian complete any required consent documentation prior to participating.
Changes to Services, Pricing & Policies
Symetrie reserves the right to amend memberships, pricing, timetables, services, policies and these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Reasonable notice will be provided where practicable.
Privacy
12.1 You agree to indemnify Symetrie, its affiliates, employees, agents, contributors, third party content providers and licensors from anPersonal information collected by Symetrie is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
